New Quicksilver Dinghies - perfect for people on (or off) the road

Quicksilver, the world leader in Inflatable Boats, has created a new range of Dinghies which are ideal for 4x4 and caravan enthusiasts.

The new Dinghies are smaller, lighter and easier to prep-and-store than ever before - but they are still safe, stable and heaps of fun. They are also priced to please.

The 200 Dinghy and the 240 Dinghy weigh in at a paltry 19 and 22 kilograms respectively and roll up into a bag which is only 1 metre long!

"If you want to go fishing, cross a river, or see the sights from the water, these Dinghies are simply ideal to keep in the back of a 4x4 or tucked away in a caravan," said Ian Stanley, Product Manager - Quicksilver Inflatables.

To ensure the Dinghies are safe, Quicksilver has constructed them with four air chambers - two on the sides, one for the keel and another for the floor.

"The inflatable floor is comfortable to sit on and it makes the Dinghy very easy to get ready," Ian said.

The 200 Dinghy can carry a 255 kilogram load and a 2.5 hp outboard, while the 240 Dinghy can handle up to 315 kilograms and a 3.5 hp motor.

Made of Mehler Haku PVC, the Quicksilver Dinghies have thermowelded seams (not glued) which guarantee a consistent joint which is actually stronger than the material itself. Mehler Haku PVC offers long-life, being long-term UV resistant and strong enough to withstand cuts, abrasions and general wear and tear.

The 200 and 240 Dinghies also come with a range of unique features and accessories including excellent quality fold down rowlocks for easy storage of oars and a durable grab rope.

Quicksilver Dinghies come standard with a storage bag, repair kit and double action hand pump. They are also covered by an extensive 1-year warranty.
